Parking lots, docks and floors take hard daily use. Here is how to plan commercial concrete that lasts.
Commercial concrete lives a hard life. Trucks back into docks, forklifts cross floors all day and thousands of tires cross a parking lot every week. Water, oil and de-icing chemicals attack the surface. Downtime costs money, so the work has to be planned around business hours and finished on schedule.
We design slabs for the loads, with the thickness, steel, joints and finishes the use requires. Docks and aprons get heavy reinforcement, floors are flattened to the tolerance equipment needs and parking areas are graded and drained to avoid standing water. We coordinate with your contractor, phase the work to keep the site open and provide clear written scopes, schedules and records.
