Flexible joint sealants and diamond grinding that keep water out of slab joints and remove small trip edges safely.
Joints are where concrete is meant to move, and they are also where water and grit get in. An open joint lets water into the base, washes out soil and helps weeds take root. A raised edge at a joint is a trip hazard. Sealing joints and grinding small offsets are simple jobs that prevent bigger problems later. A Nashville driveway, warehouse floor or sidewalk with open joints is much more likely to settle and crack over time.
We clean joints of old sealant, weeds and dirt, backfill deep joints with foam rod and apply a flexible sealant that stretches and recovers. Products differ for driveways, floors and commercial slabs, and we use ones rated for the movement and the traffic. For trip hazards, a diamond grinder takes down raised edges up to about an inch and leaves a smooth, safe transition. We can document the work with photos and measurements for property managers. We also walk the full property with you or your manager, mark every raised edge and open joint, and give a clear list of what is repaired, so records are simple to keep and nothing is missed.
